What’s a Ghost Walk?
A costumed interpreter will lead you on an outdoor walk as they bring to life true accounts and local legends of ghosts, shipwrecks, pirates and witches.

Do I need a reservation?
It helps to call ahead. 757 422 1587. We always welcome walk-ins. Please arrive about 15 minutes before your tour time to purchase your tickets.

How long does it last?
You’ll be walking for about 60 to 90 minutes. Please wear comfortable shoes.

How far do we walk?
About 4 to 5 blocks around the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Guides will take you onto the beach, along the boardwalk and around the neighborhood between 23rd and 25th Streets.

What if it’s raining?
Rainy nights are fun! The haunted tour takes place inside the Old Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum. Take photos, listen for footsteps, and experience a haunted Virginia Beach building for yourself. Check the homepage for updates.

Is this OK for younger children?
Nope. We do not recommend the tour for children 6 or under. Parental discretion is advised.

Is the tour handicapped accessible?
Yes, it’s easy for us to skip walking on the beach to accommodate. The boardwalk and streets are easily navigated.

Can I visit the Museum in the daytime?
Please do! The Old Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum offers guided tours and two levels of cool stuff to see. Visit our website and check out the tower cam at: http://www.oldcoastguardstation.com
